Refund Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective Date: August 7, 2026

We want our membership terms to be clear and straightforward. By purchasing or maintaining a Try Our Trips membership or booking travel through us, you agree to the following Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time by providing at least 30 days’ notice.

Your membership will remain active during the 30-day notice period, and any regularly scheduled membership dues that become due during that period may still be charged. Once the cancellation becomes effective, no additional membership dues will be charged.

Cancellation of your membership does not automatically cancel any travel reservations already booked or confirmed through your account.

Cancellation requests must be submitted using one of the cancellation methods made available by Try Our Trips. We recommend retaining confirmation of your cancellation request for your records.

Membership Fees & Monthly Dues

Except where otherwise required by applicable law or specifically covered by a written money-back guarantee:

  • Membership purchase fees are non-refundable once membership benefits have been used.

  • Monthly membership dues are non-refundable.

  • Previously paid dues will not be prorated or refunded because a member chooses not to use the membership.

  • Cancellation prevents future charges after the required cancellation notice period; it does not create a refund for prior membership payments.

Any promotional or money-back guarantee advertised by Try Our Trips will be governed by the specific terms and eligibility requirements stated with that guarantee.

Travel Reservation Cancellations

Canceling your membership and canceling a travel reservation are two separate actions.

Once a hotel, resort, cruise, airline ticket, vacation package, rental car, attraction, or other travel service has been booked or confirmed, that reservation may be subject to cancellation or change fees.

Cancellation fees vary depending on:

  • The travel supplier;

  • The type of reservation or rate booked;

  • The amount of notice provided;

  • The travel dates;

  • Whether the reservation was designated refundable or non-refundable; and

  • Any supplier-specific terms that applied when the reservation was booked.

The closer a cancellation is made to the scheduled travel date, the greater the cancellation penalty may be. In some cases, particularly with non-refundable rates, airfare, cruises, promotional rates, or last-minute cancellations, the entire amount paid may be non-refundable.

Supplier Cancellation Policies

Try Our Trips may arrange travel provided by independent third parties, including hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, tour operators, rental-car companies, wholesalers, and other travel suppliers.

These suppliers establish their own cancellation, refund, change, no-show, and credit policies. Those supplier policies become applicable to your reservation once travel is booked.

Try Our Trips cannot guarantee that a travel supplier will issue a refund when the supplier's terms make a reservation non-refundable.

Any non-refundable supplier charges, cancellation penalties, change fees, or other amounts withheld by a travel provider will remain the responsibility of the traveler.

Changes to Confirmed Travel

Requests to change names, dates, destinations, accommodations, cabin or room categories, flights, or other portions of confirmed travel may result in additional charges.

Any difference in price plus applicable supplier change fees must be paid before the requested change can be completed.

Changes are always subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

No-Shows & Early Departures

Failure to appear for confirmed travel, failure to check in on time, missed flights or cruises, denied boarding, voluntary early departure, or failure to use any portion of a confirmed reservation generally does not entitle the traveler to a refund.

Any refund or travel credit in these circumstances will be determined by the applicable travel supplier's policies and applicable law.

Travel Credits

When a supplier offers a future travel credit instead of a cash refund, the credit will remain subject to that supplier's rules, including expiration dates, blackout dates, transfer restrictions, fare differences, and other limitations.

Travel credits generally have no cash value unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated by the issuing supplier.

Refund Processing

When a refund is approved, it will ordinarily be returned using the original payment method when possible.

Processing times may vary depending on the travel supplier, payment processor, financial institution, and method of payment. Try Our Trips is not responsible for delays caused by third-party travel suppliers, banks, credit-card companies, or payment processors.

Third-Party Price Changes & Fees

Taxes, government fees, resort fees, destination fees, gratuities, baggage fees, incidental deposits, parking charges, port charges, fuel surcharges, and other supplier-imposed charges may change or may be payable directly to the travel provider.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, these charges are not considered membership fees and may not be refundable by Try Our Trips.

Events Outside Our Control

Try Our Trips is not responsible for cancellations, delays, schedule changes, closures, weather events, natural disasters, strikes, government actions, acts of war or terrorism, health emergencies, supplier insolvency, airline disruptions, cruise itinerary changes, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Any refund, replacement travel, or future travel credit available because of such an event will be determined by the applicable supplier's policies and applicable law.

Charge Disputes

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, please contact us promptly so we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Submitting a payment dispute does not automatically cancel a membership or confirmed travel reservation.

Applicable Law

Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy is intended to waive or restrict any cancellation, refund, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived under applicable federal, state, or local law.

Where applicable law provides the purchaser with greater cancellation or refund rights than those stated in this policy, applicable law will control.

Policy Updates

Try Our Trips may update this policy from time to time. Changes will apply prospectively as permitted by law and will not eliminate any non-waivable rights that applied to a transaction when it was made.

Questions or Cancellation Requests

For questions regarding membership cancellation, travel cancellation, or a possible refund, please contact Try Our Trips before canceling confirmed travel whenever possible so we can explain any applicable penalties or supplier restrictions.

Important: Canceling a membership does not cancel confirmed travel. Canceling confirmed travel may result in partial or complete forfeiture of amounts paid depending on the applicable supplier's cancellation policy and the amount of notice provided.
